United Nations : The UN Security Council condemned attacks on the U.S. embassy in Belgrade by rioters protesting against Kosovo’s independence.
The Security Council’s statement urged Serbs to stay within international law and to respect the status of diplomatic missions.
Serbian police arrested nearly 100 protestors during the demonstrations.
According to recent reports, a total of 96 people, including 36 riot police, were injured in the protests.
