State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Al-Samani Al-Wasila said in a statement that the summit would discuss developments of the situation between Sudan and Chad following the repeated aggressions committed by the Chadian side against a number of areas in Darfur states.

He added that the three countries are sponsors of the agreements concluded between Sudan and Chad, pointing out that Sudan is committed to these agreements and adheres to self-restraint policy by not escalating the situations that will lead to instability in the area and the African continent.

Al-Samani affirmed in his statement to SUNA that what is going on in Chad is internal affairs that it should solve without making accusations to Sudan of supporting the Chadian opposition, pointing out that Sudan has closed its borders before the Chadian opposition in implementation of the Tripoli Agreement.
