First batch of Jammu pilgrims leaves for Hajj

Jammu : The first batch of 162 Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Rajouri districts was accorded send off from Jammu Airport, here today.

Deputy Commissioner Jammu alongwith number of other senior government and police functionaries were present on the occasion.

Hajj officials told News Agency of Kashmir that around 124 pilgrims from Rajouri district arrived in Jammu on Tuesday and were accommodated in recently constructed Hajj House.

The pilgrims also expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the authorities for their stay in Jammu.
