salaam! why you people dont let Mr naik to do his job.He is doing some exceptional well for islam.As a muslim one should feel proud that he is defending Islam so well.Due to peolpe like him world have have understand that Islam is the best religion and no holy book is even comparable with Quran.We should forget that which section of muslims we are,and needs to give full support to Dr zakir naik by doing this inshalllah in futute we will see many more Zakir naik.

May be my topic might be different from the above arguements, but whatever i thought to explain i m posting it.

Islam is the best Example for humanity, Our Prophet(PBUH), always taught us to be on right path.
Ek Saccha Musalman: He will never say lies, he will never earn haram money, he will never hurt others.
Are we on right path, we were misguided by our daily living, & now the time is that we are surronded by lots of worries.
Whenever we are happy we will celebrate it, but when we have a minor problem we will react as we are in a big sorrow, at that time we will raise our hands in front of Allah & we will ask for help.
Our prophet(PBUH) never pointed anyone that he is Sunni/Wahabi/Deobandi/Ahle hadees/ Ahle sunnat/24/Laddu...?????
Then why we are merging in it???
Dr. Zakir Naik is the person who faced all the questions of non-muslims & muslims, & gave them a proper answer, but instead of collecting knowledge from him our community is finding his faults.
Whenever the matters come of Dargah people starts arguing on it.
When a person expires in islam its strictly warned that u cant make a pakki Qabar,all of us are aware of it.But all the Dargah's are of pakki Qabar + u will find that its surrounding is well furnished, there will be round Gumbbad,minars...etc
None of the wali-allah's told there followers to make pakki qabar,then why it is built???
Normally people says that we are not doing shirk by going to dargah, i would like to ask them,that when u know that the structure which is made there is against islam,then also is it fine to go there???
Or else do one thing make that structure according to our islam,then it will become like a grave & u can visit it.As visiting grave is not prohibited in islam
Agarbatti/Flowers/attar/Chadars what is it for??
Once our Prophet(PBUH) were passing on the way they found one grave,they kept some leaves on it,one person asked them why did they do so?
Our Prophet(PBUH)replied that the person inside the grave is screaming due to punishment,he will get some relief(cool) till the time the leaves are green.
This hadees peoples took as chadar's & flowers & they are continuing it.
Slightly misunderstanding became continue & now u can see the results of it.In ajmer khadim's ask u how much will be ur offerings or what amount chadar u want?
peoples pay 500-5000 for the chadars,the khadim will take the chadar with u,he will put it on the Mazaar & after some time the chadar will be found back in the khadim's shop,RECYCLE.
All knows about it but they still pay for it.
Is there any hadees which mentions that our Prophet(PBUH)
said to make dargah or go & ask for help from dargah???

I too used to go to dargah every thursday, i used to stand near the mazaar n recite quran aayaths, but when i was able to know the truth that i m wrong i stopped all that.
I was knowing that i will be not able to make that structure as per islamic terms,thats why i stopped.
Now a days peoples are celebrating our Prophet's(PBUH)birthday every year,is it right????
Islam never taught us to celebrate birhday.
Neither our Prophet(PBUH) told to celebrate birthdays.
Julus/Urs....etc is there any defination about it,no then also people are celebrating it.

Zakir Naik is not like any uncivilized person, any body critising him has to look what he himself has contributted to Islam and its followers. We all know that he has not much command over Urdu and he always admitts it before the talks. Still if anybody wants to defame him, I personally feel that the deframer has no knowledge of Islam and is far from being a muslim. These are the work of the arrogant enemies of Islam. or their weak knowledge.

Its a propaganda machinery which started working just after the Shahadate Imam Husain (A S)& is evident from the facts that even the people of Shamu Kufa were not aware of the identity of AhleBAit(AS)when they were imprisoned so Let Dr Zakir Naik or anyone say what they want as Our Imam Is Here with us & lets leave the matter in his hand & yes we should keep on telling the world what is the Truth with our acts & deeds & moreover we are the Largest community in world who has been the target of TERRORISM since the Demise of Prophet (PBUH).So lets lift ourselves & behave in exempalary manner that TRUTH PREVAILS OVER THE FALSEHOOD.

No. As a true Muslim, I can never start pointing at someone like this. Dr. Zakir Naik is the person who has put so many disbelievers and Non Muslims to the right path. He's the one who talks about Sahih Hadith and Quran. How can I just start blaming him for something that I don't even know much about. If you give references, why do you people don't think that he (who has done so much research) would say such thing without any proof and without any research. I really don't understand how people like us start believing whatever we see and whatever we hear from others.

At the end, I have questions regarding this "muafi naama" or "letter of repentace" whatever you call it. Why would he give his Muaafi naam "letter of repentance" in Urdu.

Why would he not use English, or Arabic?

If he preferred to write it in English. May I ask if this was written in Pakistan. As I don't think that an INDIAN Police Commissioner would read an URDU letter or even if they know Urdu at all.

How can his signatures be so poor (being a doctor)

If you notice in this letter, his signatures and the date the numbers are just like a kid from grade 1. While the Urdu is written in such a beautiful script. It's fake. It's fake and it's fake.

If there are any Muslim people here on this page reading my comment, I will ask you not to start abusing me. Not to abuse him. Not to start fighting with anyone who differs from you.

This is not the way how it should be. As a Muslim, first thing you should know is, Why, Why, Why did he say that. Let's find out if it's true or not.

“It is Bid'ah (innovation) to recite the Qur'an for Isaal-e-Sawab of those who have passed away, regardless whether the deceased is your parent or relative. There is no evidence supporting this practice in the authentic sources of Islam, in the Seerah of the Prophet (Pbuh) or the life of his Companions. Didn't deaths occur during the time of the companions ? Why then, we do not find any such evidence from their lives ?”

The truth:

AlBayhaqiyy[1] related that Ibn ^Umar (radiya-llâhu ^anhumâ) said: “I heard the Messenger of Allâh (salla-llâhu ^alayhi wasallam) say (what means): “When one of you dies, do not imprison him, take him quickly to his grave and read the beginning of alBaqarah next to his head and the end of sura alBaqarah by his feet”. AtTabarâniyy reported the same text, except that it says (what means): “The fâtihah next to his head”.

The evidence:

AnNasâ'iyy, arRâfi^iyy[2] and 'Abû Muhammad asSamarqandiyy [3] reported that Imâm ^Aliyy (radiya-llâhu ^anh) said: “Whoever goes past graves, reads “qul Huwa-llâhu 'ahad” eleven times and offers the reward to the dead, receives as many rewards as the number of the dead”.

AnNasâ'iyy reported through Ma^qil ibn Yassâr[4] that the Messenger of Allâh(salla-llâhu ^alayhi wasallam) said what means: “ Read/recite (sura) Yâsîn over your dead”. It is narrated by Abû Dâwûd in his Sunan (Janâ'iz), anNasâ'iyy in his Sunan (^Amalu lyawmi wallaylah), Ibn Mâjah in his Sunan (Janâ'iz), and Ibn Hibban in his Sahîh (Ihsan), and he declared it sound (sahîh). If people say: “some scholars declare it to be weak , it is replied: Imâm anNawawiyy mentioned in his introduction to the Forty Hadîths: “scholars have agreed that acting upon the content of a weak hadîth is one of the good deeds”.

Indeed this is a known rule: as long as a da^îf hadîth does not contradict what is reliable, it is rewardable to act upon it. This is the answer the hâfizu lhadîth, faqîh in the four schools of Islam, Shaykh ^Abdullâh alHarariyy answered to Mawlânâ Târiq Kamâl when he asked him a question on this very topic.

AlBukhâriyy [5] reported through Ibn ^Abbâs (radiya-llâhu ^anh) what means: Once the Prophet(salla-llâhu ^alayhi wasallam), while passing through one of the graveyards of Medina or Mecca heard the voices of two persons who were being tormented by Allâh in their graves. The Prophet (^alayhi ssalâtu wassalâm) said: “These two people are not tortured for {what looks like} a major sin; actually one of them would not purify himself of urine while the other used to go about reporting backbiting to its victims”. The Prophet (salla-llâhu ^alayhi wasallam) then asked for a green leaf of a date-palm tree, broke it into two pieces and put one on each grave. On being asked why he had done so, he replied: “I hope that their torture might be lessened, till these get dried.”

alQurtubiyy said: “Some of our scholars deduced it is lawful to read Qur'ân on a grave from the hadîth (reported by alBukhâriyy and Muslim) where it is said that the Prophet (salla-llâhu ^alayhi wasallam) divided a palm leaf in two and then planted one half on a grave and another half on another grave and said (what means): “May be this will alleviate their suffering, as long as it does not dry”. He said: “If their suffering was alleviated by pieces of trees, what about a believing man reading Qur'ân!”.

Imâm anNawawiyy mentioned in Kitâbu l'Adhkâr that ashShâfi^iyy and his disciples said: “It is mustahabb (recommended) for people to recite something from the Qur'ân by him (the dead person) and they said, “If they complete the whole Qur’ân, this is good”, after burying the deceased person. AshShâfi^iyy wrote something to this effect.

It is related that al^Alâ' ibn alLajlaj said to his children: "When you bury me, say as you place me in the side-opening (lahd) of the grave: Bismillâh wa^alâ millati rasûlillâh - In the name of Allâh and according to the way of Allâh's Messenger - then flatten the earth over me, and read at the head of my grave the beginning of Sura alBaqara and its end, for I have seen that Ibn ^Umar liked it." Narrated by alBayhaqiyy in asSunan alKubrà, Ibn Qudâmah in alMughnî and atTabarâniyy in alKabîr that the latter’s narrators were all declared trustworthy.

^Aliyy ibn Mûsà alHaddâd said: “I was once with 'Ahmad ibn Hanbal at a funeral in the company of Muhammad ibn Qudâmah alJawhariyy. After the dead was buried a blind man came up and recited [from the Qur'ân] beside the grave. “O So-and-so”, 'Ahmad said to him, ‘Recitation at the graveside is an innovation (bid^ah)!’ But when we left the graveyard Muhammad ibn Qudâmah asked 'Ahmad, ‘O 'Abû ^Abdillâh, what is your opinion of Mubashshir ibn Ismâ^îl alHalabiyy?’ ‘A sound authority,’ he said, ‘have you written anything down from him?’... ‘Yes,’ he replied, ‘Mubashshir ibn 'Ismâ^îl related to me on the authority of his father, on the authority of AbdurRahmân ibn al^Alâ' ibn alLajlaj, on the authority of his father, that he had requested that upon his death the opening and closing verses of the Chapter of the Cow should be recited over his grave, saying: I heard Ibn ^Umar requesting that this be done.’ Thereupon, 'Ahmad said to him, ‘Return to the man, and tell him to recite’.” Narrated by alGhazâli in his 'Ihyâ', book of ‘The Remembrance of Death and the Afterlife,’ alKhallâl narrates it in al'Amr bilma^rûf , Ibn Qudâmah in alMughnî and Qal^a'jiyy in Fiqh Ibn ^Umar. AnNawawiyy said in Kitâb al'adhkâr: “We also narrated in Bayhaqi’s Sunan with a good (hasan) chain that Ibn ^Umar liked for the beginning and the end of Surat alBaqarah to be recited over the grave after burial.”

AshShawkâniyy in Tuhfatu_dhdhâkirîn cited alJazariyy’s instruction in alHisnu_lHasîn: “Let one recite over the grave, after burial, the beginning of Surat alBaqarah and its end.” This is based on Ibn ^Umar’s words narrated by alBayhaqiyy in his Sunan: “I like that it be read over the grave the beginning of Surat alBaqarah and its end.” ashShawkâniyy comments: “AnNawawiyy declared its chain good (hassana 'isnadâhu), and even if it is only Ibn ^Umar’s saying, such as this is not uttered on the basis of mere opinion. It is possible that because of what he learned of the benefit of such recitation generally speaking, he then deemed it desirable that it be read over the grave due to its merit, in the hope that the deceased benefit from its recitation.”

alZa^farâniyy said: "I asked ashShâfi^iyy about reciting Qur'ân at the graveside and he said: lâ ba'sa bihi - There is no harm in it." alKhallâl narrated it in al'Amr bilma^rûf and asSayûtiyy in Sharhu sSudûr.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

This is in reference to article in Times of India dated 09-11-08, “group threatens to disrupt Zakir Naik’s conference” by Mohammed Wajihuddin.

As per the above article, Zakir Naik has refused to label Osama bin Laden as terrorist but ‘condemns the perpetrators of 9/11’ since many of the innocent people including women and child were killed in the world trade centre bombing.

However, he believes that Yazid (c.b.u.h.) son of Moaviya, (the Bani Umayyad clan) needs to be hailed and not condemned. Yazid, who under his instructions, Shimar (c.b.u.h.) decapitates Imam Husain (A.S.) and his Companions and does not even spare 6 month old Aliasger (a.s.) son of Imam Husain (A.S.) and even he is killed. Further, the women and Imam ZainulAbedin (A.S.) were taken from Karbala to Damascus and kept in prison. What was sin that they commit that they need to be kept in prison? Just because they were the only surviving family of Imam Husain (A.S.) and Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.).

One has to understand the hypocrisy of Zakir Naik. He condemns the perpetrators of 9/11 and praises and has good regards of Yazid(c.b.u.h.) who killed the grandson of Imam Husain(A.S.). Imam Husain (A.S.) and his followers were also true believers and innocent people. Zakir Naik may justify that imam Husain (A.S.) had rebelled against Yazid. However, that is untrue, Imam Husain (A.S.) was invited by the people of Kufa and that is why Imam Husain (A.S.) came with his family.

When a man speaks then only his worth is known. My appeal to all muslim brothers is that he is allowed to speak. If Allah wants to levy punishment on someone, then the punishment can be imposed only when the person commits the sin and does not repent. Hence no apology etc needs to ask from Zakir Naik. May Allah keep all the Faithfulls on right path and the muslims brothers need to awaken their faith in Islam and understand and judge who is right and who is on wrong side before death overtakes and before it becomes too late.

It is important for all Muslims that the importance of progeny of Prophet Muhammad is respected by Muslims as it ought to be respected. Who is near to Prophet Mohammed, the companions or his family? But ironically when Muslims pray namaz (salaat) 5 times a day and 17 rakats – he prays respect to Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h) and Ale Mohammed (his descendents)(p.b.u.t). But practically the respect that is expected is lost and it is proven in Karbala where Imam Husain (A.S.) was killed by muslim army. Allah Subhanu mentions of two word in Quran – munafiqeen (hypocrite) and momineen (faithful), faithful to Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h.) and his descendants.

Few verses of Quran so that you may inquire and investigate so as to increase ones faith in Islam and Iman.

“ and We did not send any Messenger except to be obeyed by the permission of Allah. And if any one wronged themselves, they had come to you and asked Allah’s forgiveness and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them surely they would have found Allah Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Surah 4: v 64.

“ Or are they jealous of the people for what Allah has given them from His Bounty? But surely we gave the family of Ibrahim the Book and the wisdom and gave them a great kingdom. Then of them are some who believed in him and of them are some who turned away from him. And sufficient is Hell as a Blazing Fire.” Surah 4: v 54-55. one has to understand that who has believed in the family of Ibrahim and who has turned away even in today’s time.

“ And be patient over what they say, and avoid them with gracious avoidance” Surah 73: v 10.

“ When the hypocrites come to you, they say, “ we testify that you are surely the Messenger of Allah.” And Allah knows that you are surely His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are surely liars. They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they turn away (people) from the way of Allah. Indeed, evil is what used to do.” Surah 63 : v 1 - 2

“ that is because they believed, then they disbelieved; so their hearts are sealed, therefore they do not understand” Surah 63 : v 3

“ And when you see them, their bodies please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. (They are) as if they were pieces of wood propped up. They think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them ! How are they deluded?” Surah 63 : v 4

“ And when it is said to them, “Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you.” They turn aside their heads and you see them turning away while they are arrogant.” Surah 63 : v 5

“ it is same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or you do not ask forgiveness for them. Allah will never forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.” Surah 63 : v 6

“ And certainly We have sent Nuh and Ibrahim, and We placed in their offspring Prophet hood and the scripture; and among them are guided ones, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.” Surah 57; v 26

“ Nay, they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused state.” Surah 50 : v 5

“ Certainly We have brought you the truth, but most of you are averse to the truth.” Surah 43: v 78

“ and indeed, they turn them away from the path but they think that they are rightly guided.” Surah 43 ; v 37.

“ and if Allah willed, He could have made them one community, but He admits whom He wills into His Mercy. And the wrongdoers have no protector or helper.” Surah 42 : v 8.

“ So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare. “ Surah 36: v 76.

“and it is the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe.” Surah 36 :v 10

“and they will say, “ Our Lord! Indeed we obeyed our chiefs and our great men, and they misled us from the right way.”” “Our Lord ! Give them double punishment and curse them with a great curse” Surah 33 : v 67-68.

“ and whoever disbelieves, let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return, then We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what is within the breasts” Surah 31 : v 23.

“ they intend to put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His Light although the disbelievers dislike it.” Surah 61 : v 8

“ and it is not for a soul to believe except by the permission of Allah. And He will place the wrath on those who do not use reason.” Surah 10 : v 100.

“ and the Shaitaan will say when the matter has been decided, “indeed, Allah had promised you a promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me, but blame yourselves. I cannot be your helper, nor can you be my helper. Indeed I deny your association of me before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers there is a painful punishment.” Surah 14 : v 22.

“ none will have the power of intercession except he who has taken a convent from the Most Gracious.” Surah 19 : v 87.

“ do the people think that they will be left because they say, “we believe” and they will not be tested? And indeed, We tested those before them. And Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.” Surah 29 : v 3

“ but they will surely carry their (own) burdens and (other) burdens with their burdens, and surely they will be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to invent.” Surah 29 : v 13.

“and if you obey most of those on the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow nothing except assumption, and they are not but guessing. Surah 6 : v 116

“indeed, those whom the Angels take (in death) while they were wronging themselves-they(the Angels ) will say, “in what (condition ) were you ?” They will say, “we were oppressed in the earth.” They (the Angels ) will say “was not the earth of Allah spacious (enough) for you to emigrate therein?” then those will have their abode in Hell and evil it is as a destination.” Surah 4 : v 97.

“ and of the people there are some who say “we believe in Allah and in the Last Day,” but they are not believers (at all). They seek to deceive Allah and those who believe, but they do not deceive except themselves and they do not realize it.” Surah 2 : v 8-9.

“ O mankind! Surely a convincing proof ( Arabic : Burhanoon ) has come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light. So as for those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him – he will admit them in his mercy and bounty and will guide them to himself on a straight way.” Surah 4 : v 174 – 175.

Zakir Naik calls himself as “servant of Allah” and a Daee (Dai) calling to Islam and doing Dawaat to non-muslims. But in Quran Surah 33 : v 46 “And as one who invites (Dai) to Allah by His permission, and as an illuminating lamp.” And in Surah 46 : v 31 Allah says “ O our people ! respond to the caller (Dai) and believe in him. He will forgive for you your sins and protect you from a painful punishment. And whoever does not respond to the caller (Dai) of Allah, then he cannot escape on the earth and he will have no protectors besides him. Those are in clear error.”

How has Allah given Zakir Naik permission ?

REGARDING TERRORISM

Reference to article “Muslim leaders lash out at govt” in Times of India, it was reported that Maulana Bashiruddin said that only solution to the riots was jihad and asked muslims to be ready.

In Quran, Allah says “indeed, those whom the Angels take (in death) while they were wronging themselves-they (the Angels ) will say, “in what (condition ) were you ?” They will say, “ We were oppressed in the earth.” They (the Angels ) will say “was not the earth of Allah spacious (enough) for you to emigrate therein?” then those will have their abode in Hell and evil it is as a destination.” Surah 4 : v 97.

Muslims in India have to understand that they are residing in Hindustan, land of the Hindus. They are in majority and they are like elder brothers. If the young brother is grown in well mannered then if the elder brother hits or scolds then the young brother should not hit back. If he is discomfort, he will merely voice out his opinion to his elder brother. If there is no improvement, he will relocate himself to any other place.

In Quran, Surah 2 : V 153, “ O you who believe! Seek help through patience and the prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient ones.” In Surah 103 : v 1-5, “ by the After noon, indeed, mankind is in loss, except those who believe and do righteous deeds and enjoin each other to the truth and enjoin each other to patience.”

Muslims should practice patience if there is any discomfort in the society. But in no way violence needs to be practiced when there is no Islamic rule. When there is Islamic state, Jihad is a defensive battle to safegurad the property, women, children etc from the invading country.

Presently the Muslim brotthers may just voice out peacefully to the ruling government the problems but cannot demand. They have to be sure that what ever troubles befalls them is by the Will of Allah.

“ do the people think that they will be left because they say, “we believe” and they will not be tested? And indeed, We tested those before them. And Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.” Surah 29 : v 3

Jihad is defencive violence to be practiced when there is threat to the state and not create civil war or rioting and disturb the peace in the nation in which the muslims are staying. Jihad is also the inner struggle to control the desires in the believers.

From Prophet Musa(Moses)(A.S.), Prophet Isa(Jesus) (A.S.) and Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.) all did not take up violence as a means to overcome the trouble that they were put in by Allah.

There is not even an iota of doubt that a true Muslim will not tolerate anything against beloved Prophet (SAW). I have been watching Dr. Zakir Naik almost regularly on TV speaking on varied topics. He has been delivering lectures both in English and Urdu and from his lectures there seems to be no reason to doubt his faith in the finality of Prophethood and he has been stressing to follow the teachings of glorious Quran and Hadith. I have even heard him saying that Zakir Naik is zero and whatever he quotes is from Quran and Hadith and that is what we should follow. Dr. Zakir Naik’s speeches in English are very forceful and elaborate but he does not have full command on Urdu which he has himself been admitting and requesting people to forgive him for any mistake. Dr. Naik has admitted that he has made the statement purely due to a slip of tongue and not intentionally and has sought forgiveness of Allah. It is our faith and belief that it is the Almighty Allah who forgives a person and we are nobody to doubt anybody’s faith and call him Kafir or anything else. There is therefore no point in stretching this issue more so when he has tendered an unconditional apology and taken his words back. We must understand that Dr. Naik is a human being and he is expected to commit a mistake for which he has sought forgiveness of Allah. Only Prophets do not commit mistakes because they speak Allah’s words through their tongue. Let us seek blessings of Allah for the whole Muslim Umah which is faced with number of problems.

We all know that zakir naik recently started to give talks in Urdu, and always and i mean always he says in the start of the talk that If i make a mistake in urdu please apologize me and concentrate on the main topic and what i am trying to convey.

So in the video zakir naik says "You only we worship and You only we ask for help"(Surah Fatiha) in urdu/hindi he said, "Teri Hi Ibadat karte hain Allah aur tujese Hi [b]MAANG TE[/b] hain." and in explaining this he said, "Prophet(pbuh) ko MAANG na bhi allowed nahi hai"

But.. This "MAANG na" by slip of his tongue came out as "MAAN na" And the so called people caught him on that, if you listen to his lecture you will understand exactly what he was saying.. Even the Asst.commissioner of police explained them, But these people were very arrogant. So zakir naik apologized only for that, though he had already apologized in start of his lecture.

The so called group of people who objected,were cornered by zakir naik and the Shia dint even pick up the Yazeed issue. they dint have any other Proof against zakir naik and they became arrogant on that statement. So zakir bhai only applogized FOR THAT STATEMENT ONLY.So please dont put allegation on some1 and run away, proove it by Quran and authentic hadith.

Only Allah Subhanahuta'la is the final authority to forgive any one & in this respect there are numerous verses in Holy Quran for seeking Allah's mercy in the way of Tawba. There lies the difference between socalled modern Mullahs like Dr. Zakir Naik & those great Awlias like Hazrat Khawja Moinuddin Chisty (Rh) who were devoting their life in praise & love of Allah Almighty & love for His Prophet (SWA). They never had any personal motive of gaining cheap popularity through publicity. Non Muslims in thousands turned to Islam being moved by their piety & selflessness, love for Allah, His prophet (SWA), simplicity of their life style and above all for their humanity. This is the reason they are remembered with reverence hundreds of years after their demise. Man like Dr. Zakir Naik because of their arrogance & proudness in mind Allah Subhanahutala give them lessons sometime-one such lesson Dr. Naik had to shoulder now. May Allah forgive him & shows the right path.
