RCom partners with US firm for mobile conferencing

New Delhi: Telecom major Reliance Communications (RCom) Wednesday announced it had partnered US-based telecom solutions provider Kodiak Networks to roll out nationwide mobile conferencing service.

RCom will roll out the services on both GSM and CDMA platforms, the company said in a statement.

The service will enable customers to establish a conference call among a group of nine contacts from the phone address book with a single click.

The company will offer the service at Rs.99 a month to both prepaid and postpaid customers.

"Our mobile conferencing service is a cost-effective, efficient and convenient solution that will prove to be a definite enabler for enhanced productivity to enterprises customers," said Krishna Durbha, head of RCom's value-added services division.
