Shafi Qureishi and others elected to AMU Court

New Delhi: Five news members have been elected to the 186 member Aligarh Muslim University Court. They are elected under the category of All India Muslim Educational Conference representative.
Mohd. Shafi Qureishi, Chairman, National Commission for Minorities, Mr. Khowaja Mohammad Shahid, Professor Riazur Rahman Sherwani, Mr. Shujaur Rahman Khan and Professor Ishrat Husain Farooqi are the new members.
Members have been elected for a period of three years.
