“Our party’s lawyer today sent a notice to Bose asking him for a clarification on his comment that he made during the rally. We are waiting for his reply,” Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Roy told reporters here.

Bose, in the LF rally Sunday, raised a question how the Trinamool Congress could get huge funds and give fat donations to a large number of people in the state.

“We are preparing to file a defamation case against him (Bose),” Roy said, adding that the LF chairman should be more careful while delivering public speeches in the political rallies. He said the party generates fund selling paintings of the party chief and distributes it among people who are in distress.
