Beemapalli firing: Muslim League promises more aids to dependents of the deceased

By TwoCircles.net Staff Reporter,

Kochi: The Muslim League will provide more aids to the dependents of the deceased in the Beemapalli firing, said PK Kunhalikkutty, state General Secretary of the party. He was speaking at the function organised by the Muslim League on the 40th day of the Beemapalli firing incident in Thiruvananthapuram.

The members of the Muslim League raised the issue in the Assembly. The Government should answer the questions of the people. A mere judicial inquiry won’t heal the wounds of the community, he added.

Financial aids were distributed among the families of the deceased at the function where special prayers too were made.

Beemapalli Rasheed, district general secretary of the Muslim League and leader of the umbrella body of Muslim organisations formed after the firing, presided over the function.

Six people were killed and several others seriously injured in the police firing that took place in Beemapalli in Thiruvananthapuram on 17th May. The government has ordered for a judicial probe in the matter, which saw the indiscriminate use of force by the police going as far as firing at unarmed people. Who gave orders to the police for firing is not yet known. The government has also distributed compensation for the families of the deceased, though after much protest by the Muslim organisations. However, the general public and the mainstream media are keeping a mysterious silence in this matter of grave concern.

Who ordered the fire? Nobody knows! Sometimes the guns fired itself!!

General Public and Mainstream media is selent! What the hell is that? Donkeys and Oppurtunists!

If TRUTH exists one man is enough to retaliate. No criminal will survive in Kerala. The Police in Kerala is Devil. Scores of Policemen including IGs are Criminals.

aid to victims

without any ill feelings; may I ask; does not the act of muslim league betray its true character that it is a communal party; not fit to be a political party in a secular country.
