Dushanbe : Indian President Pratibha Patil will pay a two-day official visit to Tajikistan on Sunday, a spokesman for the ex Soviet state’s foreign ministry said.
On Monday the Indian president will meet with her Tajik counterpart Emomali Rakhmon, Prime Minister Akil Akilov and the speaker of the lower chamber of the country’s parliament, Sadullo Khairullayev.
No bilateral documents are expected to be signed during the visit.
Pratibha Patil arrived on a state visit to Russia on Wednesday, where she met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. She will leave Russia later on Sunday.
