By NAK,

Rajouri: In one of the rarest cases a woman hacked a militant to death and forced two others to flee in injured condition in border district of Rajouri in Jammu & Kashmir.

Identified as Rashida Begum wife of Noor Mohammad of villge Shadhara in Thanna Mandi area of the district Rajouri, the woman struck back when at least three militants reportedly barged into her house and tried to abduct her, late last night.

A senior police officer told News Agency of Kashmir that Noor and his wife Rashida were sleeping when three militants forced their entry in their house. Noor Muhammad was beaten mercilessly by the armed militants who asked the woman to accompany them.

“Rashida took an axe lying in the room and struck one of them”, the police officer said adding “When the militant fell down she hit the other two as well”.

While one of the three militants died on the spot other two fled from the spot in injured condition, police said.

Well done Rashida Begum

Terrorists are terrorists and even a lady can win over them. Rashida Begum is not a girl, but a lesson to the people.

Do not allow anyone to harm and harrass you. Each and every Indian citizen has the right to protect themselves.

I salute Begum Rashida.

We can retaliate terrorists, but if the Police and Army acts like the terrorists, the matter is unthinkable. If we retaliate, the force will kill us in "encounter".

The woman who hacked to

The woman who hacked to death is a brave of exemplary conduct. She has to be awarded for her bravery in full form of respect preferably by the President of India in full view of ministers parliamentary members and other officials.

Militants barge into Kashmir valley every now and then and kill, rape the woman and go. They foolishly do it in the name of Islam. Musch has written and spoken that it is not that Islam preaches terrorism. Terrorism has no religion. It is their political grievances reflecting on the common innocent people to draw the attention of the concerned government. Blaming Islam with one or two verses of Holy Quran is an inimical to peaceful living.

Woman hacks militant to death

There were violent objection on one of my comment about the TERRORIST in Kashmir "sexually exploiting" the women of the valley. The killing proves it. What ever the NEWS report may state, the reason why the WOMAN hacked the TERRORIST was because she feared that the terrorist would "rape her".

From time immemorial, men with weapon in "law less conditions" have exploited women. The AK47 wielding ISLAMIC TERRORIST of Kashmir, who are between the age of 18-28 are no different and have made countless women submit to their "sexual demands" - RAPE in many instances. Providing Wives, Sisters and daughters to Terrorist may be called "QURBANI" by the local Muslims but essentially it is RAPE. So the HURRIET accusing Security Forces for SHOPIAN incident is just seeking an excuse to spread violence and interfere with AMARNATH YATRA.

Nothing New

Ak Singh,
There is nothing new in such reports. THis has been going on for long time - both militants and not to deny security forces as well commit such rapes. Only a fanatic fool paints the picture of a militant to be a sacrosanct, because of their wierd logic that the militant follows islam and couldn't have done such acts. Any deranged person with power to sudbue will commit such dastardly acts.
Govt should provide her with bravey award and make her a national hero. They should be given more security or if possible relocated to different village with adequate compensation.
