National Movement for Muslim Reservation holding strategic meet in Delhi

New Delhi: The National Movement for Muslim Reservation (NMMR) is holding a daylong strategic national meet for implementation of the recommendations of Ranganath Mishra Commission specifically reservation to Muslims on February 10 at India Islamic Cultural Centre in New Delhi.

According to Syed Shahabuddin, Convenor, National Movement for Muslim Reservation, Dr. Syed Tahir Mahmood, former Member of the Law Commission of India and former Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities will inaugurate the meet.



Session I of the Meet on Building Consensus on Justice Ranganath Mishra Commission Report shall be chaired by Dr. Abu Saleh Shariff, Eminent Economist and Former Member-Secretary of Justice Sachar Committee.

Session II on Strategy & Measures for Securing Implementation of the Recommendation shall be chaired by Mr. Zafar Saifullah, IAS( Retired) , Former Cabinet Secretary to the Govt of India

At the end of its deliberations the Meet shall adopt a Statement which shall be released at a Press Conference at Press Club of India on February 11.
