Thousands rally in Germany against Israeli attack on Gaza aid convoy

By IRNA,

Berlin : Thousands of people took to the streets of Hamburg and Berlin on Friday to protest Israel's deadly attack on a fleet of boats trying to bring aid to the Gaza Strip.

The largest demonstration took place in Hamburg where more than 2,500 people voiced their outrage over the brutal Israeli military action, branding it "open sea piracy."

Protesters called also for the release of the remaining activists of the 'Gaza Freedom Flotilla' who were kidnapped by Israeli soldiers following their takeover of the six ships in international waters.

Meanwhile, hundreds of people, mostly Arabs and Turks, rallied in downtown Berlin, urging the German government to halt its support for the Zionist regime.

Germany has witnessed numerous anti-Israel demonstrations across the country since the Zionist state's assault on the Gaza aid convoy early Monday.
More mass protests against the Zionist state are scheduled in Germany for the weekend.
