Attack on Sakhi Sarwar shrine is “inhuman and cowardly”: MSO

    New Delhi: Muslim Students Organization of India (MSO) has condemned the attack on the Dargah of Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar Dera Ghazi Khan, Pakistan calling it “inhuman and cowardly”

    MSO, in a statement issued today demanded that Pakistani government must ensure safety and security of Sufi institutions and personalities associated with the Sufi movement. MSO also asked the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to raise the issue of protection of Sufi shrines with his Pakistani counterpart.

    MSO president Syed Muhamad Qaudri expressed grief and sorrow over the death of 42 people killed following two suicide attacks on April 3rd.

    Established in 1977 in Aligarh, MSO is the student wing of Barelvi sect in India.

    Shujaat Ali Qaudri National Secretary of MSO said that by killing and targeting Muslims the terrorists are going to achieve nothing rather the faith and belief of Muslims in the Sufism will be stronger after each and every such attack.
