Indians should raise voice for people of Gaza: Solidarity

Kozhikode: Indian people should raise their voice for the people of Gaza, said PI Noushad, Solidarity state general secretary. He was speaking at a press conference held in Kozhikode, along with some of the participants of the recently-concluded Asia to Gaza Caravan.

Ajit Sahi, former editor at ‘Tehelka’, Firoz Mithiborwala, national president of the Bharat Bachao Andolan, Solidarity state committee member Bishrudheen Sharqi, Shaheen K Moidunni (former central committee member of the SIO) and social activist Jauhar Iqbal were present at the press conference. The caravan began from Delhi on December 1 and passed via Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt to reach Gaza.

Though many things are being said outwardly India is becoming closer to Israel and USA, said Ajit Sahi, former editor of the ‘Tehelka’ magazine. The next caravan to Gaza will leave in May, in which media persons from different parts of the country will be included, he added.
