Kashmir cop dies as his rifle goes off

Srinagar : A Jammu and Kashmir police constable was fatally shot in summer capital Srinagar Thursday when his service rifle accidentally went off, police said.

Mohammad Abdullah, a selection grade constable, was on guard duty when his service rifle went off outside Soura police station here. He was rushed to a hospital, where he died, police said.
