Chennai: The Social Democratic Party of India has announced its candidates contesting in the Assembly election in Tamil Nadu and Puduchery. The state and district leaders of the party are contesting in the elections.
M Muhammed Mubarak, Tamil Nadu general secretary of the party, will contest from the Kadayanellur constituency in Tirunelveli district. Others contesting are Amir Hamza in Thuraimugham, Abdul Hameed in Ramnadapuram, MY Muhammed Thariq in Boombukar, TM Umar Qattab in Thondaputhur and H Badarudhin in Nerevi Pattanam.
The SDPI had yesterday announced its candidates to 42 constituencies in Kerala. The party is contesting in 98 constituencies to the state Assembly.
