He said Pakistan has lost almost 35,000 “precious citizens” in the war against terrorism which is more than any body else. “No other country in the world can win this battle without support of Pakistan,” said Malik at a function.

He said terrorists are bringing a bad name to the country as well as Islam. But the law against terrorism is very feeble in the country and it is a requirement of the time to change it, he added.

Police had apprehended the terrorists involved in the Marriot Hotel blast in Islamabad, but due to legal infirmities they were ordered released by the court, he said.

Malik also said that the country was passing through a most crucial time of its history and the country’s economy was going down due to which the whole country was running on loans.
