The proposed land for AMU campus in Kishanganj

The development came on the heel of Bihar Government’s offer that it has identified the available land for the campus in four places in the village, Petbhari, Mohamari, Dhanpura, Deramari and Kumhian in the Thakurgunj, Kochadhaman and Dighalbank sub-division of Kishanganj-Bahadurganj highway.

A high-powered team led by the AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis will be visiting Kishanganj very soon to select a suitable site and discuss other relevant issues with the district officers.

It is noted that AMU Centres in Murshidabad in West Bengal and Malappuram in Kerala have already become functional with the transfer of land and establishment of AMU Centres as per the Acts and Statutes of the University and in accordance with the permission of Visitor under Statute 12(2).
