Leads or misleads: Now Indian Muzahiddin claims Delhi HC blast

By Md. Ali, TwoCircles.net,

New Delhi: Even after more than 32 hours have passed since the deadly blast at the Delhi High Court, which claimed 12 lives and left 75 injured, yet there hasn’t been any substantive breakthrough in the investigation. Only to add more confusion to the probe, now group which calls itself “Indian Muzahiddin” has claimed responsibility for the blast and also warned that another bomb blast will take place outside a shopping mall next Tuesday.

In an e-mail sent by a person named Chotoo from [email protected] at around 12: 37, the IM claimed its hand behind the blast. Importantly this has come after, yesterday in an e mail sent to several media houses, hours after the blast, another terror group Harkat ul-Jihadi al-Islami (HuJI), owned the responsibility for the blast. The HuJi e mail was traced to a cyber cafe in Kishtwar, Jammu and kashmir.

“ise hamne yani INDIAN MUZAHIDDIN NE ANJAM DIYA HAI ( We, means Indian Muzahiddin, has executed the blast.),” reads the IM e-mail.

The IM e-mail also refutes HuJI’s claim of executing the blast, saying that yesterday’s blast can’t be HuJI’s handiwork because IM had already planned for a blast in the High Court on Wednesday and “HuJI is not even remotely involved.”

There are maximum numbers of visitors in the HC on Wednesday because hearings of public interest litigation happen that day.

The alleged IM e mail also talks about another bomb blast outside a shopping complex on coming Tuesday. It dares the government and security agencies to stop if they can.

It’s very important to mention here that the alleged IM e mail is still an unverified and unsubstantiated e-mail which hasn’t yet been investigated by the security agencies.

The unverified part becomes very important because there are several questions which can be raised on the e-mail. For instance this group is not Indian Mujahideen as IM generally spells its name, but it is Indian Muzahiddin, some thing which apparently only a non-Urdu and non-Arabic speaker can spell like.

Even though the home ministry officials are verifying the authenticity and the veracity of the alleged IM e-mail but serious questions are being raised about the e-mail being either a prank or some body’s mischief. Officials can contact the service provider Google in order to acertain the authenticity of the Gmail account which was used to send the IM e-mail.

According to reports HuJi’s e-mail might also be prank because the account harkatuljihadi2011@gmail, which was used to send the e-mail, was made at around 1 PM yesterday, around three hours after the bomb blast happened at the High Court. It’s precisely because of this aspect that, reportedly today the National Investigative Agency (NIA) is not emphasizing too much on the HuJI’s e mail.

The text of alleged Indian Muzahiddin e-mail

“kal delhi me hue blast me huji ka haath ho hi nahi sakta hai. kyunkiuse hamne anjam diya. hamne pehle se yeh plan banaya tha ki wednesdayke din hi blast karna hai kyunki us din wahan sabse jyada crowd hotihai. ise hamne yani INDIAN MUZAHIDDIN NE ANJAM DIYA HAI. huji ka tohisme dur-dur tak koi wasta nahi hai. hamara agla taret jald hi ranglayega jo ek shopping complex ke bahar hoga. use koi nahi rok sakta.aur yeh agle tuesday ko hoga. rok sako toh rok lo. chotoo (chotu)memberINDIAN MUZAHIDDIN”

(HuJi can’t be behind yesterday’s blast because we executed that. We had already planned that we will plan the blast only on Wednesday because maximum numbers of people are present there that day. We means Indian Muzahiddin, have done the blast. HuJI is not even remotely involved into this blast. Soon we will plan another bomb blast outside a shopping complex which no body can stop. And this will happen on next Tuesday. Stop if you can. chotoo (chotu memberINDIAN MUZAHIDDIN)
