Activist SQ Masood won young achiever award in third civil society summit

Hyderabad: A young RTI and social activist from old city of Hyderabad Syed Qutubuddin Masood has been awarded the young achiever award at a recently concluded Civil Society Summit-2012 at the Indian Social Institute in Bangluru.

Civil society summit is a self-organized knowledge and networking event of civil society in India. The primary goal of the summit is to bring human rights and social activists from different stream together for a constructive deliberation.



Syed Qutubuddin Masood

The young achiever award is annually conferred to a social activist with age of less than 35 years, to ensure young activists whose services are unrecognized gets acknowledgment.

SQ Masood got this award for his ‘contribution, courage and commitment shown by him in engaging with different movements in Hyderabad,’ according to the Civil Society Summit.
