Aligarh: First ever book on Right to Information Act in Urdu language published from Maktaba Jamia Ltd, New Delhi (Publication of Jamia Millia Islamia) released on Tuesday at Aligarh. The book was released by Professor Mohammad Shameem Jairajpuri (Renowned scientist and Founder Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University).
On the occasion of releasing the book, Professor Jairajpuri said, “It is the need of hour to understand basic concepts of RTI. Everybody should make a use of RTI. The first book on RTI in Urdu will leave a strong impact because the persons who are unknown to English and Hindi can also understand and use RTI by reading the same in Urdu”.
Author of the book and a well known RTI Activist Shahzad Alam said, “There are still many persons who want to use this act but are unknown to the same because of non availability of books in the language of their understanding. The persons who are known to Urdu language will also use this act in this era of corruption.” This book includes all the basic queries and their answers in the simplest form, Alam added.
