Block shariah site, cancel rally: Navaid Hamid writes to PC

By TCN News,

New Delhi: Member of National Integration Council, Mr. Navaid Hamid has urged Union Home Minister P Chidambaram to cancel the shariah rally due on 3rd March in New Delhi, and immediately block the website Shariah4Hind.com, which has given the call for the rally.

“I earnestly request you to kindly order the cancellation of the permission, if any, given to the organizers of the proposed rally on 3rd of March 2012 and use your good office for advising the Ministry of Telecommunication to immediately block the website of the Shariah4Hind,” demanded Hamid in a letter to the Home Minister on Thursday.

The NIC member has urged the PC to “order investigation to locate the origin of the website as the site also contains the contact numbers of the office bearers of the organisation; advising the MEA to urgently revoke the visa issued to Abu Baraa, Chairman for Shariah4Hind and Sheikh Anjem Choudary and ban their entry to India.”

He demanded urgent attention of the government as the contents posted on the website are highly inflammatory. “The purpose of the proposed rally as mentioned on the website is to gherao Indian Parliament; to instigate the Indian Muslims to rise for implementation of Shariah Laws; to discard Indian constitution; to rally to rise and unite the Indian subcontinent under Islamic governance and complete rejection of the Indian constitution,” he wrote.

“The hate mongers claims that in the proposed rally they would also target Indian politicians and issue a fatwa against political parties and Indian politicians including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress leader Mr. Rahul Gandhi, BJP leaders Mr. L K Advani and Mr. Narendra Modi besides issuing a fatwa against the Indian constitution.”

The pictures posted on the website are also highly inflammatory and conveys the message of hate and a challenge to the Indian State, he added.

The official program of the rally also includes information about the address by Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad, leader of Al-Muhajiroun through video conferencing and also by Abu Baraa, Chairman for Shariah4Hind and Sheikh Anjem Choudary, Judge of the Shariah Court of UK in presence. You might be aware that Sheikh Omar Bakri is the same person who was expelled from UK for openly advocating Jihad and implementation of Sharia laws in Britain and also for advocating terror strikes, Hamid pointed out in the letter.

He expressed surprise as to how the Delhi Police has given permission, if any, to the organizers to hold the rally.

“I wonder why the Delhi Police has given permission to any organization which openly challenges the basic character of Indian constitution, incite its citizens to revolt against state and also why the Indian High Commission in UK had granted visas to Abu Baraa, Chairman for Shariah4Hind and to Sheikh Anjem Choudary without a proper verification of the background of the two. Interestingly the website of Shariah4Hind claims that the Press Conference on 2nd March would also be addressed by a Hindu convert to Islam.”

He further said the purpose behind the site and the rally is to create animosity and discord between communities in India, and they have begun getting success.

“The whole purpose of the website and the proposed rally seems to create chaos, animosity and discord between different communities and they have been successful in their mission as the first group to take notice of their activities and website are the people associated with Bhagat Singh Kranti Dal who have filed a PIL in Delhi High Court (as per the information available on website). It is interesting to mention that Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, the President of Bhagat Singh Kranti Dal was arrested for attack on Advocate Prashant Bhushan recently and some other members of the organisation were booked for attacking Muslims who had come to attend a rally of Popular Front of India at New Delhi railway station around two months back,” said Hamid who is also Secretary, South Asian Council for Minorities.

High Time Muslim came out Against Islamist fanatism

High Time Muslim came out against Islamist fanaticism if they want to continue to live in peace in India and with respect and dignity. They have seen that muslims are safe only in Hindu majority Bharatvarsh simply because hindus are tolerant of other religions believe in all the gods in entire world all the philosophies of other religions That does not mean that they can be taken for granted and taken advantage of all the time. We all know that if once they are angered then hell will break through which will be too dangerous for both the communities better not to wake the sleeping lion. Today Muslims should be secular and learn the art of tolerance from hindus and the need of the hour is to broaden their thinking and looking at the things with modernity. Educate themselves and educate women for better standard of life. Hindustan does not need sharia it is against our culture and social structure. Only muslims can put a stop to such non sense which is again trying to divide our country and trying to instigate hatred among the people of india. Hindus have started boiling. Beware. Time is there lot can be done. Muslims save our bharat mata from such hell. Vande Matram. Under her wings we all are safe and it is for us to protect these protective wings Vande Matram

Stop Islamist Hate

I agree with Mr. Navaid Hamid. We must oppose Islamist hate websites, just as we must oppose Hindutva hate websites. Hate rallies in which Islamist hatemongers issue mindless fatwas against the Indian Constitution or against the Prime Minister will make our stay in India untenable. These idiots must be stopped.

Freedom to curb freedom

ok so you want freedom to commit crime , insult others and when non radical Muslims question they are killed and punished. Dont try to feel Indian Muslims they are much better and secular than Muslims in other part of world.
