Imam of Masjid Al-Aqsa stresses unity among Muslims in Friday sermon at Hyderabad

Hyderabad: “Only by promoting unity and brotherhood and idea of Khilafat among Muslims Masjid Al-Aqsa could be regained from the clutches of enemies of Islam”, said Imam of Masjid Al-Aqsa, Prof. Al Sheikh Abu Mohd Al Hamudi. He was addressing the congregation of Muslims before Friday prayer in Masjid-e-Rahmate Alam located in posh locality of Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.

The Imam of Al Aqsa mosque came to Hyderabad for just one day on the invitation of the chairman of Indo-Arab League and the editor of Urdu daily Rahnuma-e-Deccan Mohd Viqaaruddin Khan.

In his hour long sermon Prof. Al Hamudi stressed on the urgent need for unity among Muslims of the world and the importance of forming a single Khilafat for the whole Muslim world.

“Every Muslim in the world has a wish in their heart that they want Masjid Al-Aqsa free from the dominance of Jews and Christians, they also want to see the independence of Islamic countries imperialized by the forces against Islam. But how these things are going to happen is the question, and the answer and only solution is the unity among Muslims and getting under one single Islamic Khilafat,” he said.

The Imam has expertise of giving sermons for the past 20 years on Quran and Hadees. During his sermon he quoted many verses of Quran and more Ahadess to explain the importance of unity among the Muslim community in the present context.

The Imam said, “Muslims whether they live in Afghanistan or Morocco, or any other part of the world they are united by the bond of Kalima and every Muslim should do his bit to help his fellow Muslim brother who is being oppressed and suppressed by the enemies of Islam, the least thing a Muslim can do for his brother is Dua.”

Imam Abu Mohd Al hamudi who is also a professor of biological sciences in Al Quds University said that the path of Islam is the only way to heaven, and Islam is not just for the life after death, but for the life on this earth. He said Islam is the way of life which makes men and women not just human beings but good human beings.
