Hajj Training in Azamgarh by AWMELA

Azamgarh: Association for Welfare, Medical, Educational and Legal Assistance, Azamgarh (AWMELA), organized a one day training for men and women selected for Hajj pilgrimage.
Dr. Fakhre Alam presided and Dr. Javed Akhtar conducted the proceedings which started with recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Mr. Qamar Abbasi (Shibli Academy). The conference hall of Shibli Academy was filled to capacity with women pilgrims at the rear end.
A number of experts inclusive of Maulana Intikhab Alam (Pesh Imam, Jama Masjid), Maulana Javed Ali Qasmi (Imam Masjid Islam Ghat), Dr. Javed Ali Khan (Secretary AWMELA) and Maulana Umair-us-Siddique Nadvi (Senior Fellow, Shibli Academy) spoke on the occasion. They all emphasized the importance of Haj and pleaded for its performance in the right spirit for the sake of Allah.
Practical demonstration of performing ‘Tawaf-e-Kaba’ by Mr. Tareeq Ahmad Khan, Vice President AWMELA, was the highlight of the program. After this demonstration Mr. Muslim and Dr. Amir Alam clarified a few things and gave useful tips for the stay in Makkah and Medina.
The program started at 9 am and concluded with video showing of Haj pilgrimage film after ‘Zuhr’ (mid-day) prayer.
