UAE ministry wins Arab award

Dubai: UAE's education ministry has won the Arab e-government shield as the best interactive platform of a ministry on Facebook, it was announced Saturday.
The competition was organised by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development and the Internet Awards Academy.
Murad Abd Al-Baloushi, director of governmental communication at the ministry, was presented with the award in a ceremony in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
