Civil Society groups to organize peace vigil on Feb 23 at Dilli Haat

New Delhi: Several civil society groups have come together to organize a peace vigil on February 23, outside Dilli Haat at 6 pm in the capital to pay condolence to those who lost their lives and to offer “prayers for all victims, express unity and solidarity.”

In a joint statement the organizers said, “Though we cannot provide any immediate solution to this, we must know that standing together to condemn the blast and to show our unity is very required in the present time when all such acts are here to divide us.”

Ravi Nitesh of Mission Bhartiyam, one of the organizers, said, “We are observing this vigil at various other places as well. We will publish list of places and organizations by tomorrow morning at our blog www.missionbhartiyam.blogspot.com as well as at our Facebook page.”

The peace vigil is jointly organized by Mission Bhartiyam, ANHAD, Buniyaad Ek Behtar Kal Ki, Yuva Koshish, Awam Ka Cinema, Ayodhya Ki Awaaz, SAMAR, AFDWOSE and supported by several other organizations.
