New Delhi: A four-year-old girl was raped by a 20-year-old neighbour when she was alone at her house here, police said Wednesday.
The incident took place in Malviya Nagar area in south Delhi. The parents of the girl were away, when Vijay, a labourer, went inside the house and committed the crime.
Another neighbour heard the girl crying, and informed her parents. The girl was taken to the hospital and the police were informed. The girl identified Vijay as the perpetrator of the crime, and he was arrested, police said.
The rape was confirmed in the medical examination.
