A conference to spread peace

Bihar Sharif: At Soghra High School ground here a youth forum namely ‘Naujawanan-e-Millat’ is going to organize ‘Paigham-e-Aman’ conference on June 1, which will be addressed by some top Islamic scholars of country. The event is to promote peace, national integration and communal harmony in the society.

The scholars who will take part in the conference are Shaikh Sanaullah Madni of Peace T.V. fame from Mumbai, Maulana Majid Qasmi of Shanti Sandesh Kendr from Phulwari Sharif and Dr. Ahsanul Huda of Islamic Dawah & Research Foundation from Darbhanga. While briefing about the program Aftab Hassan Shams, the man behind the idea of discourse said, “ the purpose is to propagate the message of peace found in different religious scriptures, which is going to inculcate a sense of social responsibilities and accountability before our Lord. Fear of God is surely going to make the citizens law-abiding”.

Naushad Ansari, Secretary, Peace Foundation, Patna, who is one of the co-organiser of the event, while briefing media persons said, “ the conference will be unique, for, the theme itself is to disseminate peace in the society and also to clear cobwebs of misunderstanding among different communities. The speakers will also speak on common beliefs of Adi Grantha i.e. Vedas and youngest revelation of God i.e. Holy Quran”. “Will there be any stronger binding force between Hindus and Muslims than ‘Brahma Sutra’ and ‘Kalima”, he questioned.
