Essay writing on relevance of Sir Syed held

    Aligarh: On the Spot Sir Syed Essay Writing Competition- 2013 on ‘Relevance of Sir Syed Movement in 21st Century’ was jointly held by the Aligarh Movement monthly magazine and the Millat Bedari Muhim Committee today in the Arts Faculty of the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

    The students of the Law, Arts, Social Sciences & Engineering Faculty of AMU alongwith Aligarh Public School, Jamia Public School, ST High School, AMU Girls High School, ABK Union High School (Girls & Boys ), Iqra Public School, City High School, Our Lady Fatima Convent School, St. Fiedels , DPS and some other schools of city participated in the competition.



    Speaking on the occasion organiser Jasim Mohammad said that it is very necessary to revive and strengthen the Aligarh Movement launched by Sir Syed. Prof. Razaullah Khan, President of MBMC, said that Sir Syed had set a glorious example of the secularism by opening the doors of MAO College for all.



    Large number of dignitaries notably Tariq Gandhi, President Sir Syed Vichar Manch, Dr,Mohd.Khalid Khan, Dr. Khurram Nisar, Dr. Fatima Zehra, Dr. G.F. Sabri, Fahmina Abrar, Ruby, Farha, Dr.Farooq khan, Tasnim Anjum, Dr. Mohd Shahid, Deeba Abrar, Shiv Shayam, Mohd Dilshad, Waseem Akhtar, Mohd. Mahmood and Sarfraz khan were present in the competition to boost the morale of participants.
