Kolkata: There is no relation between terrorism and religion and hence it would be wrong to call someone Muslim or Hindu terrorist, since they are all part of the political propaganda, said Dr Ram Puniyani, former IIT professor and eminent columnist while speaking at a seminar in Kolkata on ‘Unveiling the Terrorism Fiction’ on April 6.

The programme was organized by West Bengal Chapter of Students Islamic Organization of India. He said that the falsely spread notion that ‘all Muslims are not terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims’ has grabbed the attention of not only the investigating agencies, but also large part of the judiciary. Terrorism has been associated with a particular community, he added.
