He was invited to urge people specially Muslims to vote for INC-NCP candidate Nitin Patil from Aurangabad constituency. During his speech he made direct attack on Narendra Modi and termed him to be ‘Mozi’, not Modi. He said that Modi had left school after 8th class and then left his wife & old age parents and went to Nagpur to wear half pants and white shirt with black cap of RSS. He said that Modi had preferred to become sevak and pracharak of RSS than to take care of his old age parents and wife then can he not put the country aside to fulfill RSS agenda?

He questioned, “How can people of the country believe in a person who has not proved to be of his own wife and old age parents?”

He also said that BJP has mentioned in their manifesto that they shall impose uniform civil code for all the citizens of India but the constitution of India itself allows every citizen to practice his own religion then why was BJP trying to interfere into religious matters of Muslims. He also said that BJP is trying to mislead Hindus by assuring them to build Ram Mandir but that they were not announcing the date when would they build it.

In his furious tone he said, “The hands of Modi and his aides are red with the blood of innocent Muslims who were killed in 2002 Gujrat riots under their administration and hence must be constrained from coming to the power in centre”.

He termed BJP’s pre poll announcement of Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as tactics of fooling people where as the constitutional procedure of electing Prime Minister was done by elected MPs after election results are declared.

At the end of his speech he praised the work done by Congress towards development of minorities and said that whatever good has been done to Muslims is done by the Congress party and that communal parties have never worked for the welfare of minorities and therefore BJP like parties must be defeated in the running elections. He also assured that he will work rigorously towards establishment of Hajj House and Aligarh Muslim University centre in Aurangabad.

Advocate Khurshid Ahmed, President of All India Congress Minority Department also addressed the rally and said, “If 80% Muslims vote then communal and saffron parties can be easily defeated therefore Muslims must vote for Congress in great number.”

Many other Muslim ministers and leaders of NCP-INC also urged people to vote in greater number for INC-NCP candidate Nitin Patil and ultimately help Congress to suppress the communal parties in coming to the power.
