Prof. Siddiqi appreciated the entire HYM team for their crucial task of guiding youth to right path. While addressing the audience, he pointed out that youth must stick to determination, dedication, hard work and honesty for success. He advised students to choose courses from sciences and social sciences to pursue higher studies, and asked them not confine themselves to a few professional degrees.

He lamented that Muslims are in fewer numbers in research in the country. He stressed on the need to pursue education, particularly higher education at any cost. He inspired young participants at the event.

Newly launched HYM aims to address issues concerning college-goers and youth, and stir their emotions to do good and abstain from bad & evil. The quarterly magazine is a brain-child of Dr Ahmed Siddiqi (Cardiology Consultant) and S M Fasiullah (a Delhi University alumnus and freelance journalist).

Dr Ahmed Siddiqui of HYM said, “As responsible citizens of the country, we would like to work towards welfare of the society, focusing particularly on moral and intellectual development of youth of the Muslim community. We want to guide them towards success by educating them through all possible ways. Providing financial aid to needy students is also part of our activities.”

“This magazine is one of the many not-for-profit initiatives we have planned for the community welfare. We hope to receive a positive feedback to move on,” he added.

HYM Editor, SM Fasiullah said, “Our magazine is one of the numerous initiatives required to inspire youth and guide them towards right path and goals. It will primarily cover relevant issues and topics for the benefit of youth. Our purpose is to make them good human beings and valuable asset of the society.”

“Our aim is to inspire youth to acquire morals and ethics, and also reinforce sense of responsibility towards fellow human beings,” he added.
