Malegaon Muslims hold candle light rally expressing grief against Israeli bombing in Gaza

Mumbai: Thousands of Muslims organized a ‘candle light’ rally on Wednesday in Textile town Malegaon in Maharashtra and expressed their concerns for Palestinian people and anger against Israel and western countries supporting it in killing of Palestine people which saw more than 250 deaths so far with above 1600 wounded.

The march was organized under the banner of Muslim Reservation Federation which was presided over by the founder of Kul Jamati Tanzeem Abdul Majeed Azhari. Many ulemas and religious leaders along with trustees of Mosques joined the rally to show solidarity with Palestine people.

The candle light march was attended by many people including people of 80 years old along with children of 2 years old holding candle in their hands, raising slogans in support of free Palestine and woe to Israel and America.

Abdul Majeed Azhari addressed people and said that Israel which was created by the western countries and supported by them in its aggression against Palestine people is in reality the terrorist country who never regrets for bombing unarmed civilians in the Palestine city of Gaza.

He urged the gathering to completely boycott Israeli and American products in India and to demonstrate their anger towards disorderly killing of innocent people of Palestine by the Israeli jets.

Asif Shaikh of Muslim Reservation Federation called upon people to show unity for the cause and told them that there is a need of continued protest against Israeli bombing on the blameless people of Palestine. He also urged Indian Government to raise voice against Israel before the United Nation and to ask for restoration of peace in the disputed territory.

At the end congregational supplication was held calling Almighty to help the hapless people of Palestine and restore peace in the region while teaching lesson to Israel for oppressing Palestine people, killing children, women, elderly and for destroying mosques.

Since July 8, Israel has been engaged in a large-scale aerial operation in the Gaza Strip, where Israeli war jets have carried out hundreds of intensive strikes on targets that belong to Hamas and other militant groups in the coastal enclave.

Expressing their distress with the unruly situation of Palestine people Indian Muslims are continually protesting against Israeli raids on Gaza in many cities of the India.
