11-yr-old from Qatar to PM Modi about jail coming up at his village in Bihar

By TCN News,

Qatar: An 11-year-old boy of Indian origin studying here has drawn attention of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about a jail coming up at his native place in Bihar instead of a planned agro-research centre.

Sharjeel Ahmad Kakvi, student of MES Indian School here, has written a letter to Modi about how he was horrified to see that the government has planned to set up a jail on the land which currently has a agriculture research centre at Kako village, district Jehanabad in Bihar.

The letter, written in Kakvi’s handwriting, informs that he had been to his native Kako village during summer holidays when he discovered the authorities’ plan to build a jail at the same place where the agriculture research centre stands. “Please use your special executive powers and instead of the proposed jail, get us a stadium or a university,” Kakvi said.

Kako village, about 60-odd kms from Patna, Bihar’s capital, lies on the national highway 110. The proposed jail, if it comes up, will come up bang in the middle of the habitation.
