Hyderabad: Dr.Mirza Shaukat Baig, Associate professor in Education & Training department of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, passed away on Thursday here in Yashodha Hospital of Hyderabad. He was undergoing treatment since long for a fatal disease. He was 59 years old.
He is survived by his wife, 2 sons and 2 daughters. He was buried at Jamali Kunta Kabarstan in Hyderabad.
After his unrelenting contribution in Education, he became ‘reader’ in 2006 for Urdu University under Education& Training division. He was counted as one of the competent professor in the university.
Condolence meet was organized on Friday by Education & Training unit of the University where Prof. Mahmood Siddiqui, President of the unit termed Baig as the intelligent and experienced educator who was loved by all. Other teachers, non-teaching staff and students offered prayers of salvation for Baig and his family.
