Aligarh: The Millat Bedari Muhim Committee (MBMC) & The Aligarh Movement monthly magazine jointly held its annual Sir Syed Essay Writing Competition – 2014 on Arts faculty , Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh today.
On the occasion, Prof. Razaullah Khan and the Patron of competition said, “The achievements of Sir Syed are not limited only up to founding AMU. He had contributed much in other fields too like journalism, history and science.” Prof. Razaullah Khan appealed to the young generation to adopt the teachings and ideals of Sir Syed to brighten their future.
467 students, both male and female, participated in the competition.
Apart of the participating students, notably Dr. G. F. Sabri, Dr. Daulat Ram, Shayam Shukla, Yuman Asrar, Abdul Basit, Kapil Kumar, Mehvis, Shazma & Shagufta were also present in competition.
