Riyadh: At least 17 policemen were killed in Saudi Arabia on Thursday when a suicide bomber targeted a mosque, Al Arabiya reported.
The horrific incident took place in Abha, capital of Asir province.
It was not the first time a mosque has been targeted in Saudi Arabia.
Islamic State claimed responsibility for a May explosion at a Shia mosque in eastern Saudi Arabia during Friday prayers that killed 20 people.
