AAP volunteers start 300-km walk to support Kejriwal

New Delhi: Four AAP volunteers Sunday started a 300-km walk from Ludhiana in Punjab to the national capital in support of the party’s chief ministerial candidate Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi assembly election.

The Aam Aadmi Party volunteers – Sukhdev Singh, Udey Bhan, Abdul Khan and Prince Masih – began their ‘padyatra’ and will cover a distance of over 300 km from Ludhiana to Delhi, the party said in a statement.

AAP Ludhiana convener Ahbaab Singh Grewal flagged off the march.

“These four volunteers will undertake a hard journey just to prove our party’s motto that when the common man decides to undertake any challenge, he or she becomes an unstoppable force for change,” Grewal said.

The journey started after paying tribute to martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru.
