Rahbar Free Coaching Centre’s award ceremony held

Patna: The 69th and 70th award ceremony of city-based Rahbar Free Coaching Centre (run by Bihar Anjuman) was held at Phulwari Sharif, Patna.

The ceremony that was organized at Millat Urdu Girls’ High School on June 28, 2015, started with recital of the Holy Quran by Master Sajjad of Class X, a release from M Naushad Ansari of Peace Foundation, said.

While introducing the guests, Naushad Ansari, coordinator, Rahbar Coaching Centre, Patna informed that out of 19 students from this Centre, 13 got first division, with four scoring distinctions in the Matric Board Examination.

“The distinction holders are Shafia Parween (75.8%), Mehar Darakhshan (75.8%), Mahtab Alam (75.2%) and Shaima Parween (75%). The overall pass percentage stood at 100%. While 68.4 % students got first division, 26.31 % got second division and 5 % (Only one) student was placed in third division,” he said and congratulated the teachers for the grand success.

He boosted the students of Class X to put whole effort in securing excellence in the next year’s Board examination, the release said.

Chief guest Buddha Sharan Hans, IAS (Retired) emphasized that poverty is not at all a hurdle in persuasion of studies. “What matters is quality and quantity. You will be counted if you are excellent in any field,” he said and advised the students to study with complete concentration.

Shoib Khan, DIG of Police (Retired) reiterated that this is an era of competition and one has to study more than 10 hours a day if one aspires success in the examination.

Ghulan Rasul, retired bank manager, illustrated his own tough days in his student life and encouraged the students to focus on their studies. Mohammad Tabrez Alam, teacher from Aligarh University, informed the students that there are various job opportunities available even for matric pass students. He promised to conduct a workshop on the issue separately.

Mohammad Shahzad, advocate, Mumbai High Court, cited his difficult days during his studies. “Honest labour opens door to success. The studies are counted in the job market only if one does better than others. We can be successful only with dedication, perspiring effort, passion, honest labour, clear vision,” he added.

As the students felt difficulties in subjects such as Social Studies and Urdu, for which coaching was not being provided, the coordinator announced that he is trying to add a separate teacher for these subjects from next month.

Monthly awards were given to the students. The vote of thanks was proposed by the coordinator and the ceremony concluded with dua, the release added.
