Mujahid Students Movement (MSM) exhorts to resist political empowerment of fascist forces

Kozhikode: The Mujahid Students Movement (MSM) has called for the united efforts of the secular forces to resist the political empowerment of the fascist forces.

The representative meet of MSM, held here at C V Tower on Tuesday, opined that the results of the recent Aruvikkara by poll, in which BJP won around 38,000 votes, was the indication towards the political empowerment of the political fascism. The secular forces should take serious approach towards this trend, the meet urged.

The society should be up in arms against extremism and come forward to launch ideological fight against the intrusion of political fascism, said Kerala Nadwathul Mujahideen (KNM) state president T P Abdullakkoya Madani. He was inaugurating the meet.

“The country is an example of secular and democratic values. Any attempt to denigrate such credentials should be resisted,” he said, adding, the citizens are obliged to take up efforts to keep the secular tradition of the country intact.

MSM state president Musthafa Thanveer presided over the meet where PSC member TT Isamil was the cheif guest. AP Abdul Samad, T Sidhiq, Youth League all India convenor P K Firoz, Dr A I Abdul Majeed Salahi, P K Sakaria Salahi, Palath Abdul Rahman Madani, Dr Sulfiker Ali and Siraj Chelembra were also present.
