The complainant said she had given Yadav a loan of Rs 10 lakh when he contested the Jharkhand assembly polls in 2004, 2009 and 2014.

According to her compliant with the court, she demanded from Yadav the refund of the money in February 2015. She said she was called to a hotel in Ranchi and was paid only Rs 25,000 and Yadav tried to develop physical relationship with her and molested her in the hotel.

The BJP legislator has rubbished the charges.

“The case is politically motivated. Why was the case not filed when the incident took place in February 2015,” Yadav told reporters.
