Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University, the only university offering courses at the higher level in Urdu, is offering Ph.D. and M.Phil programmes in 17 different departments. The last date for online submission of admission forms is 31 May.
University is offering Ph.D. in English; Hindi; Translation Studies; Arabic; Persian; Women Studies; Public Administration; Social Work; Islamic Studies; Education; Management; Mass Communication & Journalism; Computer Science; Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy; Mathematics and Zoology whereas the M.Phil. program is available in Urdu; English; Hindi; Translation Studies; Arabic; Persian; Women Studies; Public Administration; Political Science; Islamic Studies; Education; Management and Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy.
Courses in which admissions is offered through entrance include all Ph.D. and M.Phil including Post Graduation (Journalism and Mass Communication; MBA; MCA; M.Tech. (Computer Science) & M.Ed.), Under Graduation (B.Ed. & B. Tech. (Computer Science)), Professional Diplomas (Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.); Diploma in Civil Engineering; Diploma in Computer Science Engineering; Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering 😉 & Diploma in Information Technology).
The University has also initiated an innovative program “Bridge Course” to integrate madrasa pass outs into mainstream education at undergraduate level. After the completion of this course, the candidates shall be eligible to take admission in undergraduate programs of concerned stream taught at MANUU and Polytechnic programs. Students passed from madrasas recognized by respective state madrasa boards are eligible for this course and admissions will be given on merit.
Last date for submission of filled in application forms for all entrance test based courses will be May 31, 2016 and for all other merit-based admissions, including Bridge Course will be July 11, 2016.
The online application forms for all programs are available at www.manuu.ac.in. The cost of application form is Rs 300 for general and for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates it is Rs 200. All payment only through challan and online is acceptable. Challan forms are available on university website.
