52 AMU students awarded ‘Late Anwar Ahmad Ansari Scholarship’

Aligarh: The Dean Students Welfare, Aligarh Muslim University recently conducted interviews to award ‘Late Anwar Ahmad Ansari Scholarships’. The Scholarship program started by Parvez Ahmad Ansari has been awarded to 52 students out of 67 AMU students, who had appeared for interviews.

A Committee consisting of Professor Jamshed Siddiqui, Dean Student’s Welfare; Professor Md Saghir Khan, Deputy Dean Student’s Welfare; Professor Salma Shaheen, Principal, University Women’s Polytechnic; Dr Ghazanfar Naseem, nominee of donor and Mr Mohammad Fazal and Ms Fatima Parvez conducted the interviews.

Mr Parvez Ahmad Ansari has initiated this scholarship program in memory of his late father, Dr Anwar Ahmad Ansari, former Principal of University Women’s Polytechnic from 1988 to 1993.
