Kerala Police arrest BJP Youth leader with fake note printing machine and Rs 1.5 lakh in fake currencies

The police on Thursday took BJP’s youth outfit Yuvamorcha leader with fake notes of new Rs.500 and Rs.2,000. Yuvamorcha leader Ragesh Ezhachery was arrested from his house at Mathilakam near Kodungallur in Thrissur district with Rs 1.5 lakh in fake currency. The police, who held a raid on a tip off, recovered a note printing machine.

Initial reports said Ragesh was actively engaged in activities of BJP and Yuvamorcha. He was member of Yuvamorcha Mathilakam panchayat committee. Kodungallur has been in headlines for last few years for clashes between Sangh Parivar organizations and other parties including CPIM and Congress.
