Patna University awards Gold Medal to Arshad Madni

Patna: At the convocation programme of Patna University yesterday Rajasthan Governor S. K. Singh presented Gold Medal to Maulana Arshad Madni for his distinguished performance in Arabic Literature.

Maulana Arshad Madni, vice president, Jamia Ibn Taimiya (Bihar), made distinguished performance in MA course (2003-05) in Arabic Literature.



The convocation programme of Patna University took place here in Sri Krishna memorial hall in which gold medals were awarded to students of different departments of Patna University for their outstanding performance.

Talking to TwoCircles.net on phone Maulana Madni said PU Arabic course has got some of the best literature and he was awarded Gold medal for his distinguished performance in MA Course.

People from across the country are calling to congratulate on this academic achievement of his.

Governor of Bihar R.L Bhatia and Vice Chancellor of Patna University were among the dignitaries and scholars present at the convocation.

Jamia Ibn Taimiya is a boarding school in East Champaran district of Bihar for boys and girls separately. It is also the study centre of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad and National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language. Plans are also afoot to open Maulana Azad English medium public school in the campus of the madrasa.
