Parera said that KPMG was already serving several major clients in the region and now the closer proximity will help the firm serve the clients better.

Besides Chandigarh, KPMG has offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune and Kochi.

According to company officials, from this new office they are targeting the expansion of services in the IT, automotive, education, manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceutical, financial services, telecom, healthcare, hospitality, real estate and defence sectors.
