Berlin : German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle expressed Monday “deep concern” over the Israeli attack on the Gaza peace flotilla which killed and wounded dozens of people.
“The initial news is shocking,” Westerwelle was quoted as saying.
He vowed to seek a thorough clarification on what actually happened during Israel’s storming of the Gaza peace flotilla.
Up to 20 foreign activists were reportedly killed early Monday, after Israel’s navy attacked a flotilla of six ships bound for the Gaza Strip with humanitarian aid.
