MP Minister & 15 officers selected to receive Indira Gandhi Communal Harmony Award

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Government has selected 16 persons including the Minister
for Public Works Kailash Vijaywargiya and 15 officers for Indira Gandhi Award for Communal Riot Prevention and Harmony 2006.

The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would present the award at a function on October 5 at Ravindra Bhawan here.

The Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya; the then Commissioner of Indore division Ashok Das; the then Inspector General of Police, Indore Shailendra Shrivastava; the then Collector, Dhar R.K. Gupta; the then Deputy Inspector General of Police Pramod Falanikar and the then Superintendent of Police P.K. Mathur would be presented the first award that comprises Rs. 15,000 and a citation.

The second prize would be given to the ten Superintendent of Police of Khandwa D.C. Sagar; the then Inspector General of Police, Khargone range Vipin Maheshwari; the ten Superintendent of Police, Jhabua Umesh Joga; the then Additional Collector, Dhar Prithviraj Dhuldhoye; Shahar Qazi district Dhar Janab Zakaulla Khan; Ophthalmology Assistant of Badnawar block Ramgopal Verma. The award consists of Rs. 10,000 and a citation.

The third award would be given to the then Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dhar V. Madhukumar Babu; the then City Magistrate. Dhar Om Narayan Shrivastava; the S.D.M., Dhar Arjun Dawar and tahasildar, Dhar S.P. Singh. The award comprises Rs. 5,000 and a citation. ([email protected])
