AMU postpones entrance test for civil services coaching

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University today postponed the national-level entrance test for admission at its Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), the Central Government funded coaching centre for civil/judicial services examinations. The test was due on 15th July 2010.

AMU Vice-Chancellor Prof PK Abdul Azis has ordered postponement of the entrance test that was to be held at four centres in the country. The test will now take place on 1st August, 2010 as per schedule.

“The Hona’ble Vice-Chancellor has ordered to postpone the National Entrance Test of Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), A.M.U., Aligarh for Civil/Judicial Services Coaching which was going to be held on 15th July 2010 at four centres due to some unavoidable circumstances and now it will be held on 1st August, 2010 as per schedule,” said Prof. Ziauddin Khairoowala, Director, Residential Coaching Academy, in a statement today.

The candidates who were due to appear in the test at Srinagar Center will be required to appear in the test on 1st August, 2010 at Aligarh Center i.e. S.T.S. High School (Minto Circle) A.M.U., Aligarh.

Those candidates who have given centre choice at Patna, Kolkata and Guwahati their centre shall be at Lucknow. Hall Tickets has been already posted by U.P.C. and the same will be entertained for the purpose. If the Hall-Tickets are not received by the candidate it can be downloaded from the website http://www.rcaamu.com/.
