He was depressed over the harassment by four of his classmates. He left a suicide note accusing the four students of harassment at the school in Bhilwara, over 240 km from state capital Jaipur, police said.

The four students have been detained for abetment to suicide, police said

His classmates beat him up over payment of Rs.100 which had been collected among them for a dinner party, said a police official.

Police said the five students had pooled in money for a dinner party Monday. “The collected money was kept with Murali. But he did not return the money,” the official said.

Police said the four students started harassing him and tore off his clothes in the presence of many other students in the school. They also thrashed and abused him.
